Why Card Access System in Singapore is necessary for us.?

Turnstile gates are present almost everywhere we go be its railway stations, airports, shopping malls, offices, resorts, parks, stadiums, or casinos. The purpose is to allow one person at a time so that the security and sometimes attendance remain intact. In several offices, employees use their identity cards to enter while in some commercial places, customers would need a coin to enter through them. These gates keep a check on any danger to the area which they let the people go through in. Let’s get to know the types of turnstiles gates generally used.

Half-height Turnstiles

These gates allow people to enter either with a coin or a ticket. We can find these gates at fairs or other public places. Once the barcode inside the gate grants the ticket, the motor automatically releases the barrier to open the entrance for the person.

Optical Turnstiles

Optical turnstiles are present at high-security places. They aim to stop the entrance of any trouble through their infrared beams and spot at every corner of the person or thing passing through them. In many places, you would find only a card access system in Singapore.

Drop Arm Optical

As the name suggests, this turnstile is a combo of barrier gates with optical facilities. Hence, it has the mixture quality of both of their security advantages. The double-arm quickly turns down, once it grants the entrance making the gate a fully functional one.

Full-height

Full-height turnstiles come with a height of almost 7 feet high. The revolving door characteristics of theirs prevent anyone to jump over them. They come in two variants. The exit turnstiles have revolving nature to allow traffic from both sides while the exit-only turnstiles allow traffic from one way only. You would find these gates at shopping complexes, offices lobbies, etc.
